After a busy few months of Summer, we have progressed as follows:

Infrastructure

  • The fencing is now up around most of the property, and we just need to complete fencing on the newly acquired land
  • The gypsy caravans have been well used over the summer, and we hope to be able to use them for a few more months
  • Renovation to begin soon on a “studio” so as to be able to accommodate more people on site

Team

  • We now have the right team in place to cover all bases plus a small group of volunteers.
  • Full team/ volunteers have all been given a basic training in Equitherapy .
  • Lucas is in charge of day-to-day management.

    Focus

    Largely depends on the target audience but;

    • Equitherapy – natural emphasis on burn out (pre/ preventative and post) cf. regaining confidence and getting back in the saddle
    • Equicoaching – natural emphasis on teamwork and leadership skills cf. non verbal clarity of communication and direction

    Clients

    • Clubhouse Marseille continues to come on Fridays
    • Full weekend of Equitherapy and other activities with Clubhouse Lyon which was a big success. Others in the planning.
    • Meeting with the mayor of La Tour d’Aigues (nearby town) to agree on future groups locally.
    • Open workshops to start on Wednesdays for people to drop in on an individual basis.
