Hot news from the Luberon is as follows;

Infrastructure

  • Second caravan to be acquired and renovated in the coming months (before the end of the year)
  • Current ribbon fencing to be replaced by wooden fencing as safer and more sturdy

Team

  • New team member Lucas to join the team mid September to be in charge of the daily care of the horses.
Focus

Largely depends on the target audience but;

  • Equitherapy – natural emphasis on burn out (pre/ preventative and post) cf. regaining confidence and getting back in the saddle
  • Equicoaching – natural emphasis on teamwork and leadership skills cf. non verbal clarity of communication and direction
    Client base
    • Weekly trial sessions with both future clients and donors
    • First fee paying clients to come in early July
    • Partnership being put in place with Clubhouse Marseille
    Funding
    • Two new investors bringing the total number to 6 and a current annual funding base of €80,000
    • Target is €120k to ensure current costs are covered plus 20% left to cover renovations and infrastructure improvement
    Resolutely modest in our ambitions though very confident of the ripple effect.
